These terms govern your use of the RateScan website, web application, and mobile application (collectively, the "Service") operated by RateScan ("we", "us", or "our"). By using the Service, you agree to these terms.
The Service
RateScan provides freight management tools including rate confirmation processing, broker management, invoice tracking, fleet management, and communication features for trucking companies and their drivers.
Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. Provide accurate information, notify us of unauthorized access, and do not share your login with unauthorized parties.
Intellectual Property
All trademarks, copyrights, and intellectual property rights remain our property. Unauthorized copying, modification, or distribution of the Service is prohibited.
Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. We do not guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. We make no guarantees about the accuracy or reliability of any data processed through the Service.
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL. This applies whether claims are based on warranty, contract, tort, or any other legal theory, even if we were advised of possible damages. Our total liability shall not exceed what you paid us in the past 12 months, or $100, whichever is greater.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, violation of these terms, or violation of any third-party rights.
Data Security
While we implement reasonable security measures, no system is completely secure. We are not responsible for unauthorized access due to factors outside our control. In case of a data breach, we will notify affected users as required by law, but shall not be liable for resulting damages.

We use third-party services including Google Firebase, Stripe, Twilio, Google Play Services, Apple App Store, and Expo. Each has their own terms. We are not responsible for their practices.
Termination
We may terminate your access at any time, with or without cause or notice. Upon termination, your rights end immediately and you must stop using the Service.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by US law. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in our principal place of business.

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance of changes.
